The devil in the Church

Mar 1:23
(23)  And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,

     We know the rest of this so no need to be 'wordy' in this small excersize of understanding. Simply put most are more interested in knowing the devil was cast out so easily then knowing where this devil was in first place. He was indeed slap in the middle of afternoon services with many faithful devoted folks, who for the most part, were blind to who or what sat next to them.

     For the most part we view 'church' as a place of fellowship and worship. However I disagree .... shocker right? I disagree because Church was set up as a tactical launching point to spread the message of repentance and not some nice warm and fuzzy place for all to show how wonderful it is to be a Christian. We seem .... never mind with that half-hearted word ..... WE DO forget that the Church is a Military establishment. Yes I said 'military'. Shall I remind you of these words:

Eph 6:11-13
(11)  Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
(12)  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
(13)  Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

     Nothing military about that right. I mean where is the nice outfits of todays Sunday Christians mentioned in here? The long flowing garbs of prosperity and wealth? The 'bling-bling' of today's common Christianity ever mentioned in Scriptures? NOWHERE!
    So instead of 'withstanding' the devil, we are holding his hand and singing "Amazing Grace" with the enemy as he sits there smiling and laughing at us under the 'Brother Bob or Sister Sally' mask.
     If you continue with the above Scriptures we see this:

Eph 6:14-17
(14)  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
(15)  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
(16)  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
(17)  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

     Can you see it yet? Can you understand that we have been playing church instead of BEING CHURCH? We forget why these devils are in the services we so blindly open to everyone and everything. Let's dive into this to prove yet again how silly we have become:

Gal 2:4
(4)  And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

          That 'unclean' fellow in Mark was not dressed in red with pitchfork (thank you Hellywood) he was recieved as a brother into their ranks. They shook their hands. They sat next to them saying 'AMEN PREACHER AMEN'

          Now we come to the conclusion of this little 'word' for you with this final thought. The next time we greet one entering our doors we fist must be willing to examin their real desire in being there. We must understand and never forget we are AT WAR! No time to play games anymore (not that there was any time to play games). We must be decerning!

1Jn 4:1
(1)  Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
